The successful Executive Director of Organizational Development candidate will:
- Have the ability to work at all levels of an organization with ease, developing effective relationships, coupled with excellent facilitation skills, communication skills, and presentation skills.
- Possess experience in benchmarking and implementing best-in-class strategies, processes, and programs associated with organizational development.
- Develop internal and external strategic relationships and lead diverse, cross-functional teams.
- Influence and sell at all levels of an organization and display the courage to stand behind his/her convictions.
- Demonstrate success partnering with business leaders across functions and geographies to craft customized learning and development strategies.
- Be a team player with strong collaboration skills.
- Develop and use metrics and apply comprehension skills to understand needs and concerns for developing and applying solutions to ensure programs and policies support business objectives and initiatives.
- Lead others and be an effective change agent.
- Be results oriented with a strong commitment to value-driven and outcome-based evaluation.
- Have experience with performance management, professional development and training.
- Manage multiple programs, handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and switch between tasks quickly.
- Display knowledge of research, current trends, and best practices related to team member and leadership development.
Experience and Education
- 10 years of experience in Organizational Development and 5 years of Organizational Development leadership experience is required. Health care experience is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in human resource management, Organizational Leadership or other related field and a master's degree in business, Human Resources Management, Organizational Leadership or another related field is required.
- Certification in SHRM or HRCI preferred.
