Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to support the daily operations of our property management team. Duties
- Assist in managing day-to-day operations of the property, including tenant relations and maintenance requests.
- Maintain accurate records and files related to property management activities, ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
- Coordinate with vendors and contractors for maintenance and repair services, utilizing Facilities Management and CMMS systems.
- Support lease negotiations and renewals, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, phone etiquette, and responding to tenant inquiries in a professional manner.
- Collaborate with the property management team to develop strategies for improving tenant satisfaction and retention.
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards and identify areas for improvement.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in property management or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong understanding of legal aspects related to real estate administration and property management.
- Proficient in administrative tasks, including filing systems and legal administrative duties.
- Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills to interact effectively with tenants, vendors, and team members.
- Ability to negotiate effectively while maintaining positive relationships with all stakeholders.
- Familiarity with Facilities Management practices and CMMS software is a plus.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen attention to detail are essential for success in this role.
