Ad Agency Account Manager
Job Type: Full-Time
Job Summary: A pivotal member of the agency team, the Account Manager is the bridge between agency and client. Reporting to the Director of Account Management, this role leverages exceptional verbal and written communication skills to articulate ideas, manage project teams, and deliver results. Responsible for managing clients, understanding their business needs, and ensuring successful execution of projects, the Account Manager plays a vital role in coordinating agency departments to deliver high-quality services, meet client objectives, and drive agency growth.
This is a 100% in-person role in Las Vegas, NV. Compensation from $65,000 DOE, no relocation assistance available.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Campaign Strategy, Planning & Implementation
- Understand clients’ target audiences, business objectives, products, and services; collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop effective marketing strategies.
- Conduct market research, analyze competitors, and identify business opportunities.
- Translate insights into strategic briefs, establishing clear measurement metrics and key performance indicators
- Ensure strategic alignment among stakeholders, clients, and project teams
2. Project Management:
- Create detailed scopes, estimates, change orders, and proposals; develop and execute project plans ensuring appropriate tracking of resources
- Manage clients, teams, projects, campaigns, and tasks to keep timelines and budgets on track
- Oversee development of deliverables, ensuring alignment with client requirements
- Manage venues, vendors, suppliers, and talent; negotiate agreements and ensure contract compliance
3. Client/Relationship Management:
- Develop rapport with clients, colleagues, vendors and partners; create meaningful connections to build/deepen client relationships
- Provide exceptional client service; act as main point of contact and respond quickly to calls, emails, inquiries, and concerns; proactively manage client needs and expectations
- Anticipate challenges, proactively develop solutions, and escalate issues/risks
- Identify cross-selling opportunities; propose additional services and solutions to increase client engagement/agency revenue.
4. Communication:
- Actively listen and communicate with clarity, transparency, and professionalism; deliver timely, effective communication (both written and verbal) with appropriate frequency and level of detail
- Use straightforward language to convey complex ideas, illustrate concepts, and foster clear understanding
- Facilitate client meetings and presentations; capture and distribute timely, accurate meeting notes; prepare and send monthly client reports
5. Systems, Processes, & Reporting
- Effectively use agency software, tools, and systems
- Create, organize, and maintain client files; ensure timely, correct client billing
- Monitor and track KPIs; record and compile results; produce and deliver relevant, accurate, timely, reports
6. Other Duties, as assigned.
Qualifications - Required Skills, Ability, and Knowledge:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Psychology, or related field; or any combination of education and experience that would provide an equivalent background
- Two or more years of account management experience in a similar role or industry
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team; comfortable in a fast-paced team environment managing concurrent projects and ensuring deadlines are met
- Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
- Strong time management, organizational, analytical, and planning skills
- Knowledge of modern marketing trends, technologies, concepts, and best practices
Preferred Candidates will have the following:
- Two or more years Account Management experience in an agency setting
- Demonstrated ability for relationship/portfolio growth
- Technologically inclined: savvy user of relationship management technology, marketing automation systems, databases, and CRM software
- Familiarity with digital ad platforms, ClickUp, Google Products, Meta advertising, Birdeye, Coveragebook, LastPass
Salary : $55,000 - $65,000
