Responsibilities of the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and driven Marketing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience, your responsibilities will include:
- Manage Social Media content and calendars for multiple clients
- Write copy for social content, blogs, email campaigns, websites and more.
- Execute on email marketing campaigns
- Maintain a strong understanding of the brand's voice, tone, and guidelines, ensuring all content produced adheres to these standards.
- Work closely with the company leaders, designers, copywriters, and other stakeholders to deliver cohesive and integrated content campaigns.
- Analyze content performance metrics and user engagement to measure the effectiveness of content initiatives and identify areas for improvement.
- Infuse storytelling elements into content through visual means, effectively conveying brand messages, values, and narratives to our target audience.
- Contribute to and eventually lead content planning and ideation sessions, providing valuable insights and creative input that align with the overall marketing objectives.
- Execute role with integrity and authenticity.
Must-Have:
To thrive in this role, you should bring the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 2-5 years of marketing experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Design, or a related field/experience/training.
- Demonstrable experience in content creation, copywriting, or a related role with a strong focus on design and visual elements. A portfolio showcasing design-integrated content work is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Figma) or other relevant tools.
- A strong creative flair with the ability to come up with fresh and innovative ideas for content creation.
- A keen interest in using business as a force for good to make the world a better place.
- Excellent written/verbal communication skills, ability to convey complex ideas concisely and engagingly.
- Attention to detail, ensuring content accuracy, grammar, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Effective time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Experience in working in CRM and Email marketing platforms such as Hubspot, and Infor CRM,
Nice to Have:
While not required, the following qualifications would be beneficial:
- Understanding of digital marketing concepts, SEO, and content marketing strategies.
- Interest in workshop facilitation
- A sense of humor
