Mission: To consult with religious communities to promote and foster the growth and sustainability of churches in the acquisition, disposition and reposition of real property and personal property in order to strengthen the churches and institutions of the Wisconsin Conference.
Job Summary: Under limited supervision, performs management of company finances, client relations, and supervises daily operations in a responsible and confidential manner for the company.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Works with the President/CEO to envision, articulate, and lead the vision and direction of Revive! to make its mission a reality.
2. Collaborate with Wesley Community Development in the design of systems and processes for Revive!
3. Personnel/Human Resources management
- Payroll management
- Pension management
- Benefits management
- Leave approval
- Reviewing expense accounts
4. Plan, implement, evaluate company management processes
5. Financial reporting and analysis
- Check signing
- Budget creation and oversight
- Creative financing lead
6. Evaluate potential new lines of business for sustainability/profitability
7. Assures electronic filing and business software systems comply with company requirements and requirements of outside auditors
8. Maintain active real estate license (preferred)
9. Assist with project management
10. Coordinate with outside auditors
11. Supervision of assigned staff members
12. Edit letters of engagement prior to submission to clients
13. Review invoices and payment schedules
14. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Experience/Education: Bachelor’s Degree or higher with a proven track record in accounting, finance, grant management, real estate, and property management. Ability to proficiently use a variety of software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Quick Base, One Drive, and SharePoint. Ability to deal tactfully and effectively with fellow employees and the public, and the ability to respond quickly, efficiently, and pleasantly to clients. Good oral and written communication skills required. Critical thinking skills and process planning required.
Work Environment/Dynamics: Revive! is a start-up company built around many and varied lines of business opportunities. Revive!’s staff will use hybrid and shared workspaces and have a fast-paced, demanding, and dynamic workload. Travel is a vital component of the positions in our company. Possession and maintaining a valid drivers’ license, vehicle, and associated insurance as well as having a home office with ongoing reliable Internet and mobile phone are necessary for this position. Team collaboration is expected and critical to the success of our company. Staff members are expected to maintain vaccinations as required by the public schools of Wisconsin, approved by the FDA/CDC, and follow virus protocols of the CDC.
