Role OverviewWe are seeking a Digital Marketing & Content Coordinator to develop and execute marketing strategies that drive engagement and business growth. This 1099 independent contractor role requires 15-20 hours per week with a hybrid work structure—some remote flexibility, but on-site presence is required for content creation, campaign execution, and team collaboration.This position focuses on content creation, digital marketing strategy, advertising, and performance tracking. The ideal candidate will be proactive, data-driven, and creative, with a strong understanding of social media trends, audience engagement, and digital marketing tools.

- Develop engaging, interactive, and trend-driven content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn).
- Capture and edit high-quality photos and videos on-site for marketing campaigns, social media, and website use.
- Plan and execute a strategic content calendar, aligning with promotions, events, and marketing objectives.
- Ensure content is optimized for engagement, shares, and audience retention.
- Manage and optimize social media ad campaigns, including boosted posts, targeting strategies, and ad performance tracking.
- Run email marketing campaigns, including newsletters, promotional emails, and follow-up sequences.
- Assist with Google PPC, Meta Ads, and geofencing campaigns to drive traffic and engagement.
- Conduct SEO research and content optimization to improve online visibility.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor marketing strategies to identify new opportunities.
- Conduct audience research to refine messaging and campaign targeting.
- Engage with customers on social media by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries.
- Track and analyze marketing performance metrics, including social media engagement, website traffic, ad performance, and email open rates.
- Provide a weekly dashboard report summarizing key insights, wins, and areas for improvement.
- Work closely with the team to refine marketing efforts based on data-driven insights.
- Proven experience in digital marketing and content creation (1-2 years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms, trends, and analytics tools.
- Experience managing paid ad campaigns on social media (Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads, etc.).
- Proficiency in graphic design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to capture and edit photo/video content using mobile devices or professional cameras.
- Experience with email marketing platforms (Brevo, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, etc.).
- Basic understanding of SEO principles and website content management.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Passion for soccer or sports marketing is a plus.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is highly preferred.
