- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from ABET Accredited University
- Seven (7) or more years of practical application of mechanical facilities engineering, including HVAC, hydronics, process piping, exhaust, plumbing, and related mechanical facilities systems
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams
- An understanding of design project delivery processes, with 5 years of experience
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize, and leadership experience
- Five (5) or more years of experience working with complex semiconductor manufacturing tools either their manufacture, installation, or use in cleanrooms
- Proficient working knowledge of AutoCAD software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Forward-thinking, eager to learn best practices and contribute with innovative ideas
- Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base
- Passion for buildings and construction
- Two (2) years field experience
- VT PE license
- Location : This is an onsite position requiring you to live in, or be willing to relocate to, northwestern Vermont
- Physical Requirements : The position requires visits and walks at an active client site in various stages of construction. Applicant must be able to walk long distances, sit and stand for extended periods, bend, stoop, twist, crawl, climb ladders, work on catwalks, work in small spaces, lift and carry up to 25 lbs
- You and the other team members will work closely with client owners in a fast-paced, dynamic environment to establish design requirements and produce construction documents for the installation of complex manufacturing tools and facilities infrastructure mechanical systems.
- Technical engineering responsibilities include design and oversight for piping and ducting for equipment heating, cooling, exhaust, and process chemicals and gasses in some of the most complex, densely packed industrial facilities on the planet. The design may include retrofit of existing building systems to accommodate tool installation including engineering calculations, equipment and component sizing, selection, and specification, and support during construction and integration into the factory.
- Managerial responsibilities will focus on leading additional mechanical staff that assist the site as needed.
- As the mechanical representative on a multi-discipline design team, you will work directly with other Client design staff, client equipment owners, researchers, and equipment manufacturers of next-generation and prototype tools to build utility requirement documents to allow the development of installation design packages.
- You may also provide technical training, quality check designs, and assist directly with the more complex portions of the design process.

The successful candidate will be responsible for interfacing with client and site personnel, and driving a team of mechanical engineers and designers. This position is based in North America and requires relocation to Burlington, Vermont. Primary duties include the following :
