The Inside Sales employee is responsible for supporting the sales efforts at the Columbus, OH store, servicing wholesale and retail customers. The qualified applicant will assist customers in person at the sales counter and over the phone by identifying needs and presenting appropriate products and services. This involves ensuring that sales transactions are completed accurately and pulling appropriate products from the sales floor or warehouse. Prior experience in retail construction material sales or tool sales is helpful but not required.
The role will involve working closely with customers to understand their needs and recommending appropriate solutions. The Inside Sales Representative will be expected to maintain accurate records and develop strong relationships with customers to drive sales growth and meet objectives. We are looking for someone who is coachable, outgoing, and enjoys working on a team.
Duties:
- Conduct warm calling to potential customers to introduce products/services
- Manage and grow an existing customer base through regular follow-ups
- Utilize software tools to track sales activities and customer interactions
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Communicate effectively in English and Spanish to cater to a diverse customer base
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Fluent in Spanish would be beneficial.
-Able to multitask in a busy environment
-Ability to work overtime if necessary and have reliable commute to the Job's location.
Job Type: Full-time
Shift: 6:15am-4:15pm with a 30 minute lunch
*once a month this position is expected to stay later than 4:15pm to complete cycle counts*
Pay: $20.00 per hour
