We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper/Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office by supporting our accounting functions and managing various administrative tasks. This position requires strong attention to detail, proficiency in accounting software, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
Primary Duties
- Manage day-to-day bookkeeping tasks including accounts receivable, accounts payable, ensuring timely invoicing and payment collection.
- Onboarding new vendors and placing orders with vendors for the products we sell.
- Scheduling, receiving, answering phones and other such tasks.
- Help ensure smooth day-to-day office operations including clerical duties and administrative support.
- Must be good interacting with customers, vendors and internal team.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a bookkeeping/accounting role.
- Strong knowledge of ap/ar and general office accounting functions.
- Experience with accounting software.
- Proficiency with Windows, Excel and Word.
- Excellent organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong analytical skills for account reconciliation and analysis tasks.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or GET required; associate degree in accounting or related field preferred.
