We are searching for a Senior Finance Manager - Operations to join our team located at our headquarters in Lake Forest, IL.
Responsibilities
Your Role:
The Operations Sr. Finance Manager is an integral member of the operations finance team within the Presto BU. This position will provide all aspects of financial reporting, analysis, modeling, and control of manufacturing costs. It also offers a unique opportunity to improve processes and profitability of a business. The successful candidate will be a detailed, accurate, and a highly motivated team player that has the potential and aspirations of developing as a Financial Leader within the organization.

- Lead/support overall budgeting and forecasting processes including yearly review of Standard Costs, quarterly forecasting and monthly analysis
- Monitor manufacturing financial performance by analyzing results and identifying corrective actions to eliminate unfavorable plant variances and drive efficiencies.
- Own the Inventory process including forecasting, analyzing and presenting to leadership
- Maintain and publish KPI trackers for productivity, material usage variances, scrap sales/consumption, write-offs, make-vs -buy, labor and overhead efficiencies, etc.
- Support BU strategic cost reduction initiatives.
- Lead consolidation of monthly plant results and ownership of standardized reporting templates.
- Partner with Plant Controllers to develop financial tools, processes, and analysis to improve manufacturing reporting in support of business goals and objectives.
- Perform various month-end close activities, including uploading and validating monthly commodity prices within SAP, recording capitalized variances, distributing inventory in-transit reporting, etc.
- Own monthly tracking and reporting of import freight and make-vs-buy penalties and coordinate with International and Supply Chain teams to improve forecasting and reporting.
- Model costs for existing portfolio, product changes, and new product introductions.
- Foster an organizational environment that values process improvement and sponsors efforts/supports functional initiatives to improve processes and cost savings opportunities.
- Participate on cross functional teams and represent manufacturing finance as the functional expert to assist with modeling and decision making.
- Make decisions and recommendations to senior functional or business unit management that support business and manufacturing strategies.
- Establish and oversee proper controls and compliance processes.
- Identify compliance issues and communicate deviation to policy and procedures to management and resolve issues and validate overall health of internal controls within span of responsibility.
- Review complex data and analytics from various sources for accuracy and provide high level summary information to support decision-making process.
- Ensure reporting is completed on time and without error ensuring enterprise and business unit standards for reporting are met and within guidelines.
- Supervise operations finance analyst or rotational interns.
- Lead various special projects.
- Coordinate, standardize and streamline reporting/forecasting processes.
- Complete ad hoc financial modeling and analysis as required for management.

Qualifications
We need you to have:
- 5-7 years of related professional Accounting/Finance experience, preferably in a large manufacturing environment.
- Proficient in MS Office, with advanced proficiency in Excel, including ability to use array formulas, pivot tables and conduct financial modeling.
- Highly proficient in SAP, as well as automated financial systems such as Hyperion and SmartView.
- Demonstrated expertise with financial modeling.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills and the ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organization.
- Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple accountabilities and multiple internal customers.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Inquisitive, accurate and detail oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.
- Exercise sound judgment with the ability to take calculated risks and make risk/return recommendations.
- Solid project management capabilities with the ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously from origin through execution.
- Ability to be discreet with confidential information.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule during key business deadlines.
- Must be team-oriented with the ability to work on high collaboration and performance teams.

Posted Salary Range
USD $145,000.00 - USD $160,000.00 /ABonus Eligibility
Role is eligible for 18% annual incentive provided the business meets financial goals and the individual meets their performance goals, subject to plan administration guidelines.Salary : $145,000
