The Director of Marketing - International is a critical member of the international lead team responsible for delivering annual revenue and earnings combined with setting the long-term strategic direction for the international business. This role is responsible for setting the strategic growth framework and leading the product development process for the most critical Product Line opportunity for the International Business. The Director of Marketing will partner with a team of marketers and collaborate with cross-functional counterparts to step change the business by accelerating growth through new product, new category and new market expansion.

Your Role:
The Director of Marketing - International is a critical member of the international lead team responsible for delivering annual revenue and earnings combined with setting the long-term strategic direction for the international business. This role is responsible for setting the strategic growth framework and leading the product development process for the most critical Product Line opportunity for the International Business. The Director of Marketing will partner with a team of marketers and collaborate with cross-functional counterparts to step change the business by accelerating growth through new product, new category and new market expansion.

- Overall: responsible for accelerating profitable $ Share growth in international markets to include Latin America, Europe, Middle East, and Asia.
- Category Leader: leads design and delivery of our biggest global Product Line opportunity in Plastics, a Category estimated to have a projected Total Market value of $4 Billion USD globally.
- Responsible for this critical Product Line globally and end-to-end (design thru delivery).
- Leads multi-functional teams that include Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Regulatory and Legal to develop the strategy and execution for this product launch.
- Responsible for developing the Business Case to garner internal support for launch.
- Will be expected to develop and leverage insights garnered from Syndicated Data, Competitive Testing, and Consumer Qual/Quant Research to inform launch strategy.
- Will be relied upon to define “Where-to-Play” and “Who-to-Target” strategies that inform the holistic product proposition.
- Will lead development of the holistic proposition including product design, sizing, and pricing/promo strategy to ensure we deliver on Consumer & Customer needs.
- Will lead development of a Communications Strategy that drives preference over competition and to activate it via various marketing mediums.
- Once launched, will manage both Design of future innovations for the Product Line and Delivery of the current business to ensure continuous growth.
- Will partner with other Brand Builders responsible for other Product Lines, to drive favorable portfolio Mix and higher ROI on advertising activations.
- Market & Consumer Insights Leader: responsible for leading the design, execution, and distillation of global research across the portfolio to enable actionable insights; SPOC for Syndicated Data and Consumer Research partners.
- Brand Equity Leader: responsible for the development of the international Reynolds® and Diamond® Brand Equity Pyramids, Communication Strategies, and Brand Architecture; will lead Marketing Planning and coach Brand Managers through the creative process from Creative Brief through execution.

We need you to have:
- BA/BS degree.
- 10 years of related professional and progressive Brand Marketing experience in CPG industry.
- Success leading multi-functional teams to deliver winning innovation at leading CPG company.
- Traditional CPG experience with new product development and commercial design (mandatory).
- Solid business acumen with proven experience in the P&L and budgeting process.
- Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices and procedures used in CPG Industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills and the ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organization.
- Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple responsibilities.
- Strong analytical skills as well as organizational skills with high attention to detail.
- Solid project management capabilities with the ability to organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously from origin through execution.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule during key business deadlines.
- Ability to travel.
- Proficient in MS Office.
- MBA or other advanced degree.
- Lean Startup experience with new product development and commercial design.
