Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with remote Recruiting Manager in managing the full recruitment lifecycle by being the onsite Recruiter:
- Job postings
- Attending Career Fairs which include local, statewide, and abroad travel
- Resume and application screening
- Interviews
- Checking references
- Offers
- On boarding
- Assist with managing the H2B and J1 programs
- Onsite coordinator for H2Bs, J1s, and Interns which include transportation and housing.
- Represent RLO by participating in community events and serving on committees.
- Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, resolving conflicts or issues in a fair and efficient manner.
- Develop and maintain company’s professional network through relationships with HR professionals, high schools, colleges, and other partners.
- Participate in job fairs and career events which include local, out of state, and abroad travel.
- Select appropriate recruitment functions and events for labor needs.
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and productive work environment.
- Assist in the development and implementation of performance management systems.
- Support managers in conducting performance reviews and setting development goals.
- Support managers with progressive discipline.
- Ensure HR policies and procedures comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Assist in creating, updating, and communicating employee policies and guidelines.
- Support leadership development initiatives and career progression planning.
- Develop employee communication through newsletters, employee app, UKG community broadcast.
- Assist with employee benefits and compensation.
- Prepare HR reports, metrics, and presentations.
- Audits and maintains HR boards throughout property.
- Assist with employee exit interviews and off boarding processes.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of HR-related documentation.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR department as needed.
Qualifications/Requirements/Experience/Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3 -5 years of experience in an HR Generalist role.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Strong problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, and HRIS systems.
- Ability to travel when needed.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
