Pay: $30.00

Your Role:

As an Ignition Specialist, you will add value for the company through improving and supporting the digital manufacturing environment. A key function of this role will be to use Ignition to streamline processes and increase productivity.

You will be responsible for:

Use Inductive Automation software (Ignition) to connect, design, and deploy applications and platforms to retrieve data from production equipment.
Learn Ignition and have the ability to create tags and write logic to connect equipment.
Use Ignition to create display boards for production equipment.
Review Ignition data and make recommendations to production managers on trends.
Participate and lead Presto-wide improvement projects and kaizen and problems solving events.
Be disciplined in adherence to process accountability by setting clear expectations and using a process for tracking and follow-up on actual accomplishments of assigned tasks.
Apply Lean concepts and problem-solving tools in daily project work to promote continuous improvement.
Perform work in a safe manner that protects and promotes the health and well-being of the individual, plant, and the environment.
Assist with basic site IT projects and tasks.
Be accurate, organized, able to establish priorities, and detail oriented. Be able to handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision.

We need you to have:

• Required-high school education
• Preferred-two year technical degree/certification in a related field
• Experience in Inductive Automation Software (Ignition)
• Experience in SQL programming
• Demonstrated ability to work in Microsoft Office - Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Access/Database
• 3-5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment, including knowledge of extrusion and converting processes.

• Ability to read and understand mechanical and electrical drawings including electronic schematics and ladder diagrams
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Analytical problem solving skills
• Effective written and oral communication skills
• Understanding of computer/industrial networking
