Overview:
RFS Behavioral Health is looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to join our team in Toledo, Ohio. This vital role ensures seamless HR operations, supports employees, and upholds compliance with laws, regulations, and company policies. This position will report to the HR Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the full lifecycle recruitment process, including reviewing candidates, coordinating interviews, onboarding, and offboarding.
- Create recruitment branding materials.
- Support on-site state audits and internal HR audits to maintain compliance.
- Assist in planning organization-wide engagement events and programs.
- Coordinate training and education for employees.
- Serve as a contact point for employees to address queries and resolve issues.
- Ensure compliance with state and federal employment laws, regulations, and standards.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of employee information.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Qualifications:
- Associate's Degree in Business Administration or a related field with a focus in Human Resources preferred.
- 1-3 years of experience in an HR Coordinator role.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and excellent computer skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks.
- Capability to work independently or collaboratively while considering input from stakeholders when implementing changes.
- Knowledge of principles and practices of HR management, including benefits administration, workers’ compensation, unemployment compensation, and federal/state EEO employment laws.
- Professionalism in handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Must successfully pass all background screening requirements.
Preferred Education:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Administration or a related field.
