Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Contract Recruiter to join the People team on a full-time basis for the next 3-6 months. In this role, you will manage the end-to-end recruitment process, identifying top talent to meet our hiring needs across various roles and departments. The ideal person will bring an understanding of recruitment best practices, and the ability to work in a fast paced, results driven environment.
This temporary position offers an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact by building and strengthening our workforce during a period of growth.
This is a remote position, with the preference for someone based in Boston, MA.
Responsibilities:
- Owns the full recruitment life cycle for 10 requisitions, supporting both U.S. and global-based requisitions.
- Collaborates with the hiring managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
- Builds and maintains a talent pipeline.
- Provides a best-in-class candidate experience through consistent communication and follow-up.
- Diligently follow-ups with the hiring team for feedback to keep the interview process moving swiftly.
- Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
- Screens the qualified candidates and provides the notes from the screen to the hiring team in a timely manner.
- Schedules the interviews for the hiring team.
- Coordinates the use of tools to support proper talent alignment (including behavioral and cognitive assessments).
- Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other members of the People staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
- Extend, negotiate, and close offers.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Skills
- 4 years of corporate recruiting experience, adept at managing every phase of the recruitment and hiring process, with a preference for technology-focused organizations.
- 2 years of experience recruiting for globally based positions, demonstrating expertise in navigating international hiring landscapes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with good negotiation tactics.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (BambooHR is a plus).
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth, and transformative environment.
- Proactive and independent with the ability to take initiative.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with laws, regulations, and best practices applicable to hiring and recruitment.
