Responsibilities
- Prepare, process, and embed tissue specimens for histological examination.
- Perform various laboratory techniques including microtomy, staining, and mounting of slides.
- Maintain high standards of aseptic technique to ensure specimen integrity.
- Collaborate with pathologists and other laboratory staff to ensure timely and accurate results.
- Conduct quality control checks on laboratory processes and equipment.
- Document all procedures accurately in compliance with laboratory protocols.
- Assist in the training of new staff or interns in laboratory techniques and safety practices.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Histotechnology or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience working in a hospital or research laboratory setting is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology.
- Proficiency in aseptic techniques and various laboratory procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
