About you

You must exhibit professionalism in providing customer service and communication in a fast-paced atmosphere. You will ensure the execution of Inventory Control, through physical counts and maintain a web-based inventory control system, through weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual updates. You will participate in the success of refractory business opportunities including trials and developing reports. You will also establish a positive, professional working relationship with refractory crew, plant personnel, plant management and internal stakeholders. You should be comfortable working in a heavy industrial environment.

About the job

RHI Magnesita is looking for an experienced Site Coordinator in Kingman, Arizona who will report to the Sales Manager. The individual will be based at the steel plant of one of our valued customers, and the position requires the following abilities:

• Coordinate daily logistics of refractory materials
• Support the refractory application and inventory housekeeping to RHI Magnesita products on site including daily inventory counts
• Able to operate a fork truck for the loading/unloading of trucks as needed or willing to learn
• Primary receiver of all materials on site
• Reconciliation of all materials at month end
• Maintain acceptable inventory levels by creating orders and shipments as needed
• Work closely with commercial team to ensure continuous supply for the customer
• Coordinate the inbound logistics and demand planning for RHI Magnesita products, through the utilization of the specific tools.
• Establish a good professional relationship with refractory crew and plant management to determine inventory plans that meet the needs of the shop
• Daily collaboration with supporting teams
• Validate all deliveries and verify paperwork is accurate
• Generate and deliver presentations and reports as needed
• Unload trucks and ensure material storage is completed properly to minimize scrap and preserve available inventory on site
• Responsible for populating Scope & o9 Forecast System with accurate consumption forecast.
• Able to develop, maintain and provide performance improvements through direct collaboration with the customer
• Daily maintenance/inspection of Terminator and other equipment
• Regular coordination with Automation specialist to provide maintenance tracking
• Other duties will be assigned as needed

In addition:

• Communicate effectively with the team on site as well as the customer
• Bachelor's degree in applicable field or relevant experience highly preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, with a focus on Microsoft Excel
• Reliable transportation and a strong sense of ownership
• Ability to make effective decisions under pressure
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
• General maintenance capabilities preferred
• Ability to adapt to changing conditions and environments
• Ability to work safely in an industrial environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
