Role Mission: The Financial Analyst will assist in the data-driven decision-making process to help secure and manage the performance of our residential and commercial real estate portfolio by performing in-depth financial analysis, preparing reports and presentations, and collaborating closely with top management. This role reports to senior leadership and is key in evaluating, supporting, and expanding investment pipeline. You are part of the finance team and have an exciting opportunity to support the accomplishment of our organizational purpose to build communities and enhance lives of our customers and team.

Accountabilities:
- Create asset-level and portfolio-level financial modeling and valuation analyses for existing and new investments including IRR, XIRR, Payback period, etc.
- Develop detailed investment packages for presentation to senior leadership.
- Maintain proforma financial models for residential and commercial real estate projects.
- Conduct financial analysis to assess key performance indicators, identify trends, and support decision-making.
- Support property-level due diligence and market research for new investments.
- Prepare and maintain quarterly asset management models and reports including comparisons of asset performance vs. budget and hold-sell analyses.
- Provide regular reporting on financial metrics, including occupancy costs, lease renewals, and capital expenditures.
- Prepare Cash Flow projections for multiple entities.
- Perform other financial analysis, reporting, or budgeting duties as assigned by senior leadership to support departmental and portfolio objectives.

- Train and develop new Accountants as needed
- Improve Accounting Department’s relationships with other departments in the company
- Review Internal controls of the Accounting Department.
- Implement appropriate KPIs to measure the Accounting Department’s performance
Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Real Estate, Business, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within commercial real estate or property management.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills including pivot tables, V-lookups, H-lookups, and other advanced functions.
- Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Solid understanding of IRR, XIRR, Payback periods, Multiple on Investment, and other Real Estate KPIs
- Familiarity with financial statements
- Proficiency in financial analysis and modeling, with proven experience constructing and interpreting complex financial models in Excel.
- Experience in commercial real estate, data analysis, or retail is a plus.
- Ability to synthesize data and present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Demonstrated commitment to honesty, integrity, and discretion in handling sensitive information.
