About the Role:
If you are interested in contributing to this kind of engaging work, we are interested in talking to you! We are currently looking to add a Supply Manager to our Supply Chain team.
What you'll do:
- Ensuring that all assigned products are sourced, produced, assembled, packaged, shipped, and delivered to meet desired timelines and inventory models for each customer.
- Utilizing and coordinating with the resources within the Elevate Health Sciences to ensure the right product is received at the right quantity at the right time in the right design to meet all customer demands
- Avoid out of stock situations while ensuring that inventory turns are in harmony with management directives
- Producing and managing purchase orders to promote the most effective use of company funds in the acquisition of assigned products
- Continually monitoring and maintaining all areas of data integrity of assigned products within the Deacom ERP system and development of product specifications
- Being the initial point person in resolving all critical issues relating to product assigned inventory
- Key member of a cross functional product team that meets key timelines for design and launch of new products in the areas of Nutritional Supplements.
- Experience in generating cost savings by finding efficiencies and COGS saving throughout previous value streams/supply chain streams.
What you'll need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or related field required
- 2-5 years or related work experience preferred
- Solid understanding of standard purchasing procedures, and best practices
- Understanding of Supply Chain functions
- A proven understanding of production planning and inventory control procedures
- Understanding of forecasting techniques and application in the Demand Management cycle
- Exposure to manufacturing procedures, packaging engineering and some understanding of manufacturing technology
- Ability to analyze Supply Chain problems and resolve them quickly by utilizing all available internal and external resources
- Ability to work independently with little supervision in performing job duties. Possess intellectual curiosity to grasp key concepts quickly with limited guidance.
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing to internal customers, suppliers, and people in other functional areas within the company
- A can-do attitude and a history of keeping commitments
- Ability to perform within critical timelines and perform well under pressure
- Positive and professional in actions and behaviors. Can influence others toward positive outcomes.
- Ability to gain confidence and trust of people in other company functional areas in management of assigned responsibilities
