Radiology Physician Connect Coordinator | Remote, Denver Metro Area
Reports to Senior Manager of Physician Services
Employment Type: Full Time. Monday to Friday 12:30pm to 9pm MST.
Radiology Imaging Associates (RIA) is comprised of over 100 radiologists. All with exceptional skill and expertise, most are fellowship-trained in their field of specialty for additional certification. We are dedicated to accurate and efficient patient diagnoses no matter their condition. Our interventional radiologists perform some of the most leading-edge treatments available today. We partner with primary care physicians and hospitals across Colorado, Kansas, and Hawaii to provide a resource for both patients and physicians.
Summary of position:
In this phone-based position, you will assist in communication on behalf of our radiologists while triaging incoming calls from providers and other staff. You will operate multiple computer programs including imaging and dictation systems. You will provide support to radiologists, doctors, techs, hospitals staff, etc. You will assist in communicating results, correcting study information, downtime procedures, IT issues, etc. While this position does not provide direct patient care, you will have a significant impact on the quality and timeliness of care provided by our hospital and outpatient partners. Performance Objectives:
- Within 30 days comfortable working independently on all computer and phone systems
- Within 60 days comfortable making outbound calls to referring offices, hospitals, and internal team members
- Within 90 days comfortable answering inbound calls from referring offices, hospitals, and internal physicians and technologists
- Manage the critical result queue through our imaging software
- Offer excellent customer service by troubleshooting any issues the radiologists encounter and ensure there are no issues
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in a healthcare setting or medical office
- Radiology experience preferred
Compensation is estimated to be between $20.50 and $27.75 per hour depending on qualifications.
In accordance with Colorado law, the range provided is Radiology Imaging Associates reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. This position is accepting applicants on an ongoing basis, and will remain open until filled.
