Marketing Intern

Rice Fergus Miller seeks qualified candidates for a Marketing Intern.  For nearly 40 years, RFM has committed its practice to creating meaningful projects – ones that build and strengthen community. This opening offers the opportunity to learn about architecture and design while honing your skills. You’ll interact with a variety of staff from different parts of the firm and assist the marketing department with a range of tasks. Additionally, you will play a key role in collecting, organizing, editing, and transferring project content, data, and assets into a new software system and our content library. Additionally, you will support the development of marketing materials, including project profiles, resumes, and brochures for print, social media, and the firm’s website.

Time Commitment: Up to 30 hours per week at our Bremerton office
Internship Duration: Part-time internship over a 12-week period with the possibility for an extension

Essential Functions:

·        Collect, organize, and input project-related content, data, and assets into a new software system and internal content library

·        Create updated project profiles and resumes in Adobe InDesign

·        Create engaging content for social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn) and email campaigns

·        Support the firm’s participation in events, conference booths, and photoshoots

·        Help maintain and update the company’s website and social media profiles

·        Collaborate with marketing team members and other staff on marketing projects as needed

Minimum Requirements:

·        Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field

·        Strong written and verbal communication skills

·        Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

·        Familiarity with social media platforms and online marketing tools (Google Analytics, Mailchimp, Hootsuite, etc.)

·        Proficient in Adobe InDesign

·        Creative mindset with attention to detail

·        Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

·        Positive attitude, eager to learn, and passionate about marketing

This position is a non-exempt position with a pay range of $16.28 to $21.47 per hour.  Benefits are not available for this position, other than sick leave, as required by WA law, of one hour of paid sick leave for every 40 hours worked.
