Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Registration: Greet patients, verify personal and insurance information, and accurately input it into the hospital or healthcare system.
- Documentation Management: Ensure all required forms and consents (e.g., medical history, insurance, and consent forms) are completed, signed, and filed appropriately.
- Insurance Verification: Verify insurance coverage and obtain pre-authorizations or approvals as necessary.
- Data Entry: Accurately enter patient information into the electronic medical records (EMR) system or other databases.
- Patient Interaction: Answer patient questions and provide guidance regarding the admissions process, including paperwork, insurance, and hospital policies.
- Appointment Scheduling: Assist with scheduling appointments for patients and coordinate with medical staff for any necessary pre-admission testing.
- Coordination: Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including nurses, doctors, and medical assistants, to ensure seamless patient admission and information flow.
