The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies to meet dealership objectives. Responsibilities include regular updates to the website and social media pages, preparing promotional materials and displays, and organizing special events. This position works under the general direction of the dealership’s General Manager.
- Plan, coordinate, and promote on- and off-site promotional events such as, bike nights, group rides, local festivals, etc.
- Manage all major databases--Mobile, Email, Social, CRM--and create campaigns to grow database membership
- Maintain and grow the dealership’s social media presence including, but not limited to, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, including daily posts, pictures of new major unit buyers, departmental features, events, etc.
- Create weekly emails regarding company events, current promotions, and flash sales
- Maintain and update website content for assigned dealership(s) to ensure quality and consistency. This includes, but is not limited to, updating the event calendar, banner ads, dealership sales and specials, and staff page.
- Work with the managers to develop departmental specials and promotions and ensure staff is aware of marketing activities
- Foster and maintain strong relationships with community organizations, local riding groups, manufacturer events, etc. to promote the dealership’s presence in the community
- Investigate, evaluate, and recommend paid media placement opportunities (traditional, digital, etc.) as appropriate
- Create dealership videos as needed for use on website and social networks
- Adhere to dealership’s marketing budget
- Abide by specific, unique, OEM marketing requirements such as events, promotions and submission of associated documents
