JOIN OUR GROWING TEAM AS OUR HR GENERALIST!
The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for providing human resources support for the facility, which includes assisting in recruiting for vacant positions, conducting general employee orientations, assist in maintaining all personnel records and files, assisting in conducting employee benefits and retirement program enrollment meetings, responding to insurance and unemployment compensation correspondence, employment verifications and assist in organizing all employee activities and in-services.
This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to providing excellent HR support to all employees.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in preparing personnel-related documents for Joint Commission and CMS surveys.
- Assist in recruiting all vacancies, including interviewing, job placement, and conducting orientation.
- Prepare personnel files and maintain personnel records in accordance with facility and corporate personnel policies and guidelines.
- Conduct criminal and background checks for all new hires.
- Assist new employees in completing their onboarding requirements.
- Audit personnel files, ensuring all information is current and accurate.
- Prepare requested reports for the Human Resources Director as requested.
- Assist facility management regarding employee relations issues, counseling, and termination procedures as required.
- Assist in processing all discharged employees' termination paperwork (COBRA packages).
- Participate in special projects as assigned by the Human Resources Director.
- Assist in organizing special employee events, activities, and human resources-related in-service training.
- Support facility-wide quality/performance improvement goals and objectives.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel and Word.
- Experience using Paycom and HealthStream
- Knowledge of personnel procedures and all legal requirements such as FLSA, FMLA, and EEOC.
- Knowledge of JCAHO, HCFA, and state and federal regulatory agencies.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Skill in organizing and prioritizing workloads to meet deadlines.
- Ability to use good judgment and to maintain confidentiality of information.
- Ability to demonstrate tact, resourcefulness, patience, and dedication.
Your Experience Matters What we’re looking for:
Education/Experience: A minimum of five (5) years experience in a hospital business office and/or human resources, preferably in a health care setting or any combination of education, training, or experience in a hospital business office. Paycom and Healthstreams experience preferred.
Additional Requirements: Ability to work occasional flexible hours as requested. Bilingual is a plus.

Compensation:
This is a full-time, exempt role, and the expected annual compensation range is between $52,000.00 and $58,240.00. We’re eager to engage with all qualified candidates, and consideration will be given to experience and skill level. Join us as our HR Generalist!
