What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical Tech position at Ridgid Electric, LLC?
We’re searching for a skilled electrical technician to add to our team. In this role, you’ll work alongside other electricians on a wide variety of projects. It will be your job to help evaluate, assemble, and maintain various electronic devices and types of electrical equipment. To do this, you will be tasked with troubleshooting malfunctioning equipment, reading electrical blueprints, and using common tools and techniques to resolve issues. You’ll need to know a lot about electrical equipment in order to do this.
We’re looking for applicants who have completed specialized training to prepare themselves for this type of position. You can satisfy this requirement through the completion of an electrical apprenticeship, with a relevant degree, or through previous on-the-job experience.

Electrical Technician Requirements:
- Two-years of electrical knowledge is preferred
- Completion of an electrical apprenticeship is beneficial
- Previous experience as an electrical worker
- Ability to complete common repair and maintenance tasks with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills
- Experience with commonly-used hand and power tools
Electrical Technician Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot malfunctioning electrical devices and equipment
- Use your specialized knowledge to make repairs
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and schematics
- Order and maintain the supply of electrical components that you need to do your job
