In this high-impact role, you will be pivotal in defining and executing our engineering strategy, fostering innovation, and delivering scalable, reliable, and cutting-edge IT solutions.
Please note that this will be a hybrid role in the Bay Area. We highly prefer local candidates or individuals willing to relocate to the Bay Area.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
Develop and execute the engineering strategy in alignment with the company's vision and business goals.
Oversee the architecture and design of AI, Data, and Cloud-based IT services and solutions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product, sales, and marketing, to define and prioritize roadmaps for IT solutions.
Team Leadership:
Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of engineers, architects, and solution designers in delivering IT services.
Build a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the IT services domain.
Recruit and retain top engineering talent with IT services and solution delivery expertise.
Technology Leadership:
Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies in IT services, AI, data engineering, cloud computing, and software development.
Guide the team in adopting best practices for IT service management, DevOps, CI/CD, and agile methodologies.
Ensure that solutions are secure, scalable, and aligned with industry standards and IT service frameworks.
Solution Delivery:
Drive the end-to-end delivery of innovative, IT services-oriented solutions that meet customer needs.
Ensure high-quality execution within timelines and budget constraints, while managing multiple IT service projects.
Partner with clients and stakeholders to understand their IT service requirements and deliver tailored solutions.
Innovation and R&D:
Identify new opportunities for leveraging AI, Data, and Cloud technologies to create business value in IT services.
Drive innovation initiatives within the IT services space and champion the adoption of disruptive technologies.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees preferred.
12 years of experience in engineering roles, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity, specifically in IT services or related fields.
Proven track record of leading large-scale IT services engineering and solution delivery teams.
Expertise in AI/ML, big data technologies, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) as applied to IT services.
Proficient in modern programming languages and frameworks.
Strong understanding of cloud-native architectures, microservices, and IT service management.
Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
Strong people management and team-building capabilities, particularly within IT services environments.
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple IT service projects in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
