They are looking for a Finance Controller who will play a critical role in overseeing all financial activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and providing strategic financial insights to support our client’s growth and sustainability goals. This is an onsite position based in New Haven County, CT.
Finance Controller’s Responsibilities and Duties
- Oversee the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial performance.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable financial regulations and standards.
- Support business planning and decision-making processes.
- Evaluate financial performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Finance Controller’s Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
- At least ten years of relevant work experience in the finance/control area.
- Advance degree or certification preferred.
- Expert knowledge in accounting, finance, overall financial statements and cash flows, regulatory accounting.
- Exposure to IFRS Accounting a plus.
