Description
Perform accounts payable functions following established procedures. Achieve company objectives related to payments to suppliers. Ensure controls are in place and procedures followed to pay only authorized payments. Continuously improve accounts payable related activities.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Pay bills for RFI and maintain accounts payable ledger
- Review all A/P entries
- Make sure payments to suppliers are done in a timely manner
- Solve discrepancies by communicating with vendors, operation departments, and any other related parties
- Review A/P aging list on a monthly basis to spot unusual transactions and take necessary actions
- Assist in monthly and yearly closing
- Handle other A/P functions as necessary
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Abilities:
- Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office.
- Good organization skills.
- Good aptitude for math.
- Good analytical skills and detail oriented.
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma required. Some college preferred
- 2-3 Years of Accounts Payable experience required
