What are the responsibilities and job description for the Client Service Representative position at Riley's Ranch Pet Resort?
We are looking for full-time client service representative to run our lobby. Shifts are Saturday and Sunday 6:50am - 11:30 am and Monday thru Wednesday 10:30am - 7:00pm. Days dependent on schedule that needs to be filled and will include all or some weekends.
Our CSR values and ensures that pet owner’s experience a seamless process that gives them the peace of mind that their pet will be happy during their stay. This role requires 90% client facing communication. Duties include, but are not limited to, performing all front desk duties including check-ins, checkouts, reservations, guest phone messages and special requests.
Essential Duties of the Client Services Representative:
The CSR is responsible for the following. This list may be revised at any time and additional duties not listed here may be assigned as needed.
- Responsible for inbound and outbound phone calls/emails/messages to communicate with potential, current, and previous clients
- Schedule pet evaluations, daycare, and boarding
- Compiling vaccine records to make sure all pets are up to date on our vaccine protocols
- Manage daycare and retail product promotion, payments, and inventory
- Manages operations in accordance with company standards of safety, cleanliness, and conduct
- Ability to keep a high-level of communication regarding client satisfaction to leadership team
- Maintaining a clean and organized space
- Assist Resort Manager/Owner with development of training guides for the front desk experience

Required Education and Experience:
Qualified individual ability must have a high school diploma or an equivalent credential.
They must be able to communicate effectively voice to voice, via email, via text message and bring high energy and fun to the resort. This job requires knowledge of standard grammar and spelling. They must be able to demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering excellent customer service. Applicants have 2 years customer service experience in veterinary, pet care, animal shelter or similar; and strong leadership qualities.
Work Environment & Physical Demand:
The work environment at Riley’s Ranch Pet Resort is fast-paced and the noise level is usually loud. The safety of our team members and pets is a high priority. As a Customer Service Representative, you may be exposed to animals that are agitated and/or injured. Animals may scratch and/or bite. Due to our unique work environment, you may work in outdoor weather conditions. You may be exposed to wet or humid conditions (non-weather). Customer Service Representatives must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. A team lift may be required for heavier items. While performing the duties of this job, you will be required to talk and hear; stand; walk; sit and use hands; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
