What are the responsibilities and job description for the IT Director position at Ringside Talent?
We are working closely with a company headquartered in Columbus to identify an IT Director. The ideal candidate aligns with the responsibilities and qualifications outlined below.
Responsibilities
- Lead the IT department’s operational and strategic planning, including fostering innovation, planning projects, and organizing and negotiating the allocation of resources
- Continue to build out the technology infrastructure by determining the best course of action to fill gaps with technology the support business needs
- Manage financial aspects of the IT department, including purchasing, budgeting, and budget review
- Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems, including telecommunications, servers, PCs, operating systems, hardware, software, peripherals, and Custom applications
- Develop and implement all IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provisions
- Benchmark, analyze, report on, and make recommendations for the improvement and growth of the IT infrastructure and IT systems.
- Approve and oversee projects and project portfolio
Qualifications
- 10 years IT management experience
- Possess excellent communication skills and have a desire to work with other people in a team environment
- Must have the ability to take direction give direction and be able to work under stressful situations
- Very strong technical and leadership skills
Salary : $170,000 - $200,000
