IT Systems Engineer

At Rinsed, we are building software to run the $15bn Car Wash industry.

We're a B2B SaaS company, providing car washes with all the tools they need to transition to a subscription model. Modern car washes are fully-automated tunnels that can wash over 200 cars/hr, and they are moving from selling single washes to all-you-can-wash subscriptions. We are giving this $15bn underserved market the tools to manage and grow their subscription revenue.

We are a small team, who just raised our Series B from VMG Technology in addition to our Series A from Founder's Fund and Bedrock Capital. We are currently installed at over 3,000 car washes nationally helping to manage more than 8 million car wash memberships. What we've built so far is just the beginning. As an IT Systems Engineer, you will play a key role in managing and optimizing our internal tools and systems to ensure smooth business operations. You will work hands-on with integrations, troubleshoot technical issues, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that align with our goals.

In this role, you'll also have the opportunity to shape the future of IT and security practices within our organization, contributing to the team's growth and the scalability of our systems.

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop, implement, and maintain integrations between internal tools and systems
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues to minimize disruptions
• Optimize and monitor system performance to ensure scalability and reliability
• Work closely with internal teams to understand technical requirements and business needs
• Serve as a key resource for tools like Zapier, Twilio, and SendGrid, providing guidance and support
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align IT solutions with company objectives
• Support and troubleshoot network configurations, including VPNs, firewalls, and connectivity issues, to ensure reliable operations
• Contribute to the growth and development of IT infrastructure, with a focus on implementing security best practices
• Support IT operations and ensure system security, reliability, and efficiency
• Identify and implement opportunities to improve systems and workflows
• Work with third-party vendors to ensure seamless tool integrations and system support
  
  

What You'll Need to Succeed

• Must-Haves:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Hands-on experience with integration tools and workflows, including APIs and automation platforms
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve technical challenges independently
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a team-focused mindset
• Nice-to-Haves:
• Experience with Zapier, Twilio, and SendGrid and IAM solutions like Okta for managing user provisioning, single sign-on (SSO), and access controls
• Knowledge of IT security practices, including SOC 2 compliance frameworks, with the ability to contribute to security-focused projects
• Familiarity with cloud services, automation workflows, and implementing scalable IT solutions
• Foundational knowledge of networking concepts, including configuring and troubleshooting networks, VPNs, and basic firewall settings

The estimated annual cash salary for this role is $125,000 - $145,000. This position is also eligible for incentive stock options, subject to the terms of applicable Rinsed plans. Rinsed provides an estimate of the compensation for roles that may be hired as required by state regulations. Compensation may vary based on (a) location, as we factor in specific location when benchmarking compensation for most roles, (b) individual candidate skills and qualifications, and (c) individual candidate experience. We leverage current market data to determine compensation, and reserve the right to modify this information at any time, subject to applicable law.

Salary Range

$125,000—$145,000 USD
