As our Event Production Manager, you will plan and oversee event production and technical operations for a wide range of sporting events, concerts, family shows, and conventions held at the Rose Quarter. You will be responsible for venue setup planning, coordinating IATSE Local 28 labor, and ensuring smooth event execution while maintaining a safe, efficient, and exciting environment for our guests and staff.
DAY-TO-DAY:
- Prepare event materials, including CAD drawings, rigging overlays, labor and equipment invoices/payroll, and schedules.
- Serve as a knowledgeable point of contact for event production personnel.
- Evaluate rigging plots for events, or obtain structural analysis when needed from the Structural Engineer and enforce the bridle plan.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure safety and quality service in the technical and labor aspects of their event production.
- Responsible for coordinating and supervising stagehand labor per event or maintenance needs.
- Maintain selected facility electronic systems, including audio, lighting, and displays.
- Track budget expenses and manage stagehand payroll.
- Manage and/or perform preventative maintenance on all Production equipment.
WE’D LIKE TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU:
- Have at least 3-4 years of related work experience.
- Are proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD.
- Are comfortable with heights.
- Have a general understanding of IT & AV systems and troubleshooting.
- Can make critical decisions quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Can establish and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Have the aptitude to learn and operate various software interfaces.
- Understand stage language and can read blueprints, drawings, and technical materials.
- Have knowledge of sports and entertainment event management and/or event operations.
- Are willing to work long hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as events dictate.
WE’D BE THRILLED IF YOU ALSO HAVE:
- Rigging knowledge, including fall protection and life safety requirements.
- Experience working with IATSE labor and/or other unionized stagehand crews.
- Familiarity with arena or large-scale venue production operations.
- Strong knowledge of audio, lighting, video, and broadcast systems.
- Experience with budget tracking and payroll management for production teams.
- Knowledge of industry best practices for event safety and technical production.

Salary : $80,000 - $85,000
