We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Escrow Assistant/Funder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in facilitating real estate transactions by assisting with the escrow process. This position requires a solid understanding of escrow procedures, loan processing, and relevant regulations. The Escrow Assistant will work closely with clients, real estate agents, and lenders to ensure a smooth transaction from start to finish.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and review of escrow documents and contracts.
- Coordinate communication between all parties involved in the transaction, including buyers, sellers, real estate agents, and loan officers.
- Ensure compliance with Fair Housing regulations and TILA (Truth in Lending Act) guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions and manage timelines effectively.
- Process loan applications and support loan origination efforts as needed.
- Conduct basic math calculations related to escrow accounts and transaction figures.
- Prepare closing statements and ensure all necessary documents are completed for closing.
- Assist with underwriting processes by gathering required documentation.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the escrow process to enhance client satisfaction.
