Clinic Coordinator Job Description
The Clinic Coordinator is responsible for managing patient communication channels, overseeing administrative tasks, and supporting front desk operations to ensure a smooth and efficient workflow. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:Patient Communication & Scheduling:
- Manage incoming patient calls, emails, and inquiries with professionalism and empathy.
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments while maintaining an organized calendar.
- Assist patients with general questions regarding services, billing, and insurance verification.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for patient concerns and escalate issues as needed.
- Reply to patient text messages with SOP/scripts for each specific task.
Administrative & Operational Support:
- Ensure all patient records and documentation are accurate, complete, and up to date.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinic policies regarding patient privacy.
- Coordinate and schedule medical sales presentations and lunches
- Support the clinic’s daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration or a related field preferred.
- Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting.
- Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and scheduling software.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, scheduling, and HIPAA regulations.
- High level of problem solving.

Work Environment:
- This role requires frequent interaction with patients, medical staff, and administrative teams.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
