Responsibilities

As a Job Coach/Paraprofessional, you will play a key role in guiding and supporting individuals in their vocational and daily living goals. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Assisting clients in developing job skills, workplace etiquette, and employment readiness.
• Providing one-on-one and group coaching to support job placement and retention.
• Encouraging independence by helping clients navigate workplace challenges and develop problem-solving skills.
• Collaborating with employers to create an inclusive work environment for individuals with special needs.
• Offering emotional and social support to clients in community settings.
• Driving clients to and from job sites as part of our transportation service.
• Documenting client progress and communicating updates with the care team.
• Upholding ethical standards and confidentiality in all interactions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a difference and meets the following qualifications:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to connect with clients, employers, and the care team.
• Ability to work with diverse populations, including adults with special needs.
• Experience in community mental health is preferred.
• Must be willing to drive as part of our transportation service for clients.
• Must have a good driving record to ensure client safety.
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude in supporting individuals' growth.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
