MUST HAVE EXTENSIVE EXP WORKING ON RFP'S
- Procurement team at world bank is getting responses from RFI to replace their internal procurement system by end of month and will start reviewing- coming up with defining requirements / piecing together what that solution might lookg like depending on what vendors come back with. They will then draft an rfp that would be much more specific- for tech would work with enterprise architecture group to propose what solution would look like for procurement transformation
- Then will float RFP to companies for solution- timeline, budget, capabilities, etc,. demos in march / April, then would review towards June to start next fiscal year
- They are looking for a senior BA to help us review those responses and begin formulating business requirements and start to draft a detailed RFP to be released in a few months.
- Need experience with writing or reviewing RFPs, certainly experienced with gathering business requirements to feed into an RFP, who can help follow agile process, writing stories, features, etc. need proper documentation in place so that when they do float the RFP will be as smooth as possible.
- More likely to extend one year plus
- Industry experience- financial experience is helpful but RFP experience is a bigger / better piece of it.
- This is a procurement project but the procurement system is a bit atypical-It is a system for the bank to track what the borrowers do, so they have to account to the bank for what the contracts, bidding process, etc look like- so is not a typical procurement system. In that sense it is almost a tracking / activities application
- Strong requirements gathering / agile skills
- Non technical but need to be able to work with tech teams (architecture, etc) to gather requirements about what system specifically needs to do to help draft RFP
