Position Overview:
We're seeking a results-driven Inside Sales Manager to lead our internal sales operations, focusing on inbound inquiries, outbound sales development, and remote client management. This role is responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with business clients and high-value customers without extensive travel requirements. The ideal candidate will combine sales leadership expertise with strong communication skills to drive revenue growth through phone, email, and virtual consultations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the inside sales team to achieve revenue targets for both B2B and B2C sales
- Develop and implement strategies for lead qualification, follow-up, and conversion
- Oversee phone-based and virtual product consultations and demonstrations
- Build and maintain relationships with wholesale accounts and key customers
- Create and optimize sales processes for remote selling
- Collaborate with the showroom team to ensure consistent messaging and customer experience
- Track sales metrics, analyze performance data, and prepare regular reports
- Implement CRM systems and sales technologies to improve efficiency
- Train and develop inside sales staff on product knowledge and sales techniques
- Coordinate with marketing on lead generation campaigns and follow-up strategies
Requirements:
- 3 years of inside sales management experience
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets in a remote/inside sales environment
- Experience with B2B sales processes and account management
- Strong phone presence and excellent communication skills
- Experience with CRM systems and sales technologies
- Ability to motivate and develop sales team members
- Analytical mindset for sales forecasting and performance tracking
- Occasional availability for weekend work or extended hours to support sales initiatives
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in fitness equipment, sporting goods, or related industry sales
- Knowledge of fitness equipment specifications and applications
- Background managing both retail and wholesale customer relationships
- Experience with virtual product demonstrations or consultations
- Familiarity with the fitness industry and market trends
