What are the responsibilities and job description for the Practice Manager position at River Hospital, Inc?
We are seeking a practice manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our medical office building teams. In this pivotal role you will ensure the smooth running of our practices, providing exceptional leadership to staff and supporting the delivery of outstanding patient care.
Our Practice Manager will work Monday- Friday during regular business hours (no nights or weekends).
Job Purpose
Collaborating directly with the River Family Health Center, Community Wellness Program and Post-Traumatic Stress Services Associate Medical Directors in providing the following:
Analyze and utilize data to improve practice operations and patient care.
Promote the practice to the local community to attract new patients.
Prepare and present regular reports on practice performance and objectives.
Ensure the facility is well-maintained, safe, and compliant with all health and safety policies.
Continuously seek ways to improve practice efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of management experience in a healthcare setting
- Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and healthcare technology
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proven track record of leadership
- Superior written and verbal communication abilities
- Knowledge of operational procedures and policies specific to healthcare practices
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and customer service
- Flexibility to adapt to changing healthcare environments and legislation
- Professionalism and a positive demeanor
- Certification in Practice Management (e.g., Certified Medical Manager (CMM) or Certified Physician Practice Manager (CPPM)) preferred
