River Place Behavioral Health, a service of Ochsner Health System, provides state-of-the-art psychiatric care for adults who are struggling with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and other mental health concerns.
As the Director of Clinical Services at River Place you will participate by overseeing the development and implementation of patients' treatment plans by:
- Directing and overseeing program operations, including budget management, developing marketing plans and independent decision making for program requiring clinical expertise.
- Providing clinical consultation, oversight of case planning, care coordination and supervision to the staff.
- Developing, planning and implementing program goals, objectives, personnel, resources and equipment.
- Ensuring that services are focused on the patients presenting problem and request for service.
- Monitoring meetings, as well as admission, continued stay and discharge criteria.
- Providing clinical direction and leadership.
- Directing crisis intervention efforts and intervene as required.
- Providing health education to patients, staff and practitioners within area of specialty. Developing, implementing and promoting specified health education to the general campus community as appropriate.
- Reviewing caseloads regularly to ensure appropriate utilization of services.
- Developing and implementing operating policies and procedures for the facility.
- Ensuring that procedures and workflow are consistent with organizational objectives, treatment protocols, regulations and standards of care.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
- Master's Degree in Behavioral or Mental Health or closely related field required.
- Four or more years’ experience working with the population of the facility required.
- Two or more years of previous supervisory experience required.
LICENSES/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS:
- LCSW required. Licensed counselor/social worker/psychologist preferred.
