Veterinary Receptionist

River Run Animal Hospital is a full-service animal hospital, that welcomes both emergency as well as pet patients in need of routine medical, surgical, and dental care. Our clinic is looking for a Receptionist to join our team. We have state of the the art medical equipment and a progressive approach to medicine. We are seeking support staff for our busy, expanding business; grow with us! The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and a commitment to providing excellent care.

Candidate must be proficient at operating a multiple-line phone system, checking clients in/out, taking payments and scheduling appointments, etc. Strong computer skills and ability to multitask is a must. We're looking for someone who has excellent customer service skills, a positive attitude, a good sense of humor, and likes to have fun while working in a fast-paced environment.

Position Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED certificate.
• Flexible schedule, including some weekends.
• Knowledge of medical procedures and animal handling.
• Must possess strong communication skills, sound judgment, and be able to manage stressful situations and work with others on a team respectfully.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay: $9.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week

Experience:

• Veterinary experience: 1 year (Preferred)
