Job Title: Operating Room Nurse
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Operating Room Nurse to join our team at Rivers Edge Hospital. As an OR Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in the perioperative setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and prepare patients for surgery, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest clinical practices and technologies.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Minnesota license.
- Certified in AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 months of hire.
- Knowledge and experience in perioperative nursing preferred.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
