Front Desk/Receptionist
Shift Details: Monday-Wednesday, approximately 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
About the Role:
As the first point of contact for our patients, this customer service position plays a vital role in creating a welcoming and professional experience. Your ability to communicate effectively and ensure timely, accurate interactions with patients and caregivers—both in person and by phone—is crucial to our mission of delivering exceptional care.
What You’ll Do:
- Greet and register patients upon arrival, ensuring all information is entered accurately into the system.
- Verify insurance eligibility and input insurance details into patient records.
- Coordinate referrals and scheduling for patients to ensure seamless transitions of care.
- Discuss financial options, including explaining insurance coverage, authorizations, and providing cost estimates.
- Use a variety of tools, systems, and technologies to support workflows and maintain accurate records.
- Deliver timely, professional communication to patients, caregivers, and internal staff.
- Handle additional responsibilities as assigned to support the clinic's operations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience with insurance verification or medical office operations.
- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with patients and staff.
