Description
Riverview Surgical Center is growing and we are looking for a patient care technician to join our ambulatory surgery center team!
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a member of the ambulatory surgery center team, you will provide safe and effective patient care under the direct supervision of a registered nurse.
- Assists with restocking rooms and maintaining a safe and clean environment.
- Follows all established infection control policies and recognizes role in providing safe care to the patients.
- Reports any significant information and/or change in patient condition directly to a registered nurse.
- Prepares, organizes, and efficiently uses supplies and equipment to prevent waste.
- Assists with patient through put including rooming patients, transporting patients on carts or in wheelchairs, and upon discharge to vehicle.
Qualifications
EDUCATION AND LICENSES:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
