Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Contract Administrator to join our Labor Compliance Team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing contracts throughout their lifecycle, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory HUD Section 3 requirements, and facilitating communication between stakeholders. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of contractual agreements and supporting the organization's operational goals.
Duties
- Review, draft, and negotiate contracts while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable laws.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of contracts and related documents for easy access and reference.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary information for contract development and execution.
- Monitor contract performance, including compliance with terms, conditions, and deliverables.
- Provide guidance to stakeholders on contract-related matters and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Conduct regular audits of contracts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Assist in the development of contract templates and standard operating procedures.
- Stay updated on industry trends, legal changes, and best practices related to contract management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience in contract administration or management is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of legal terminology and principles related to contracts.
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
- Proficiency in contract management software or tools is a plus.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Strong analytical skills to assess risks and benefits associated with contractual agreements.
