Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage AWS/Azure cloud infrastructure
- Automate deployment and management processes
- Monitor and optimize the performance of cloud resources
- Support the hybrid multi-cloud by maintaining security protocols
- Configures, optimizes, tunes, and monitors operating system software
- Develop and deploy cloud solutions to Amazon Web Services (AWS)
- Maintain cloud-based servers patching vulnerabilities, backup/restore operations, provision new servers, configure monitoring systems, lifecycle management
- Establish configuration, compliance, and audit program to effectively manage AWS
- Keep up with the latest trends, and understand the competitive edge compared to similar product stacks, technology ideas, patterns, and methodologies
- Collaborate with Product owners, Enterprise architects, Business subject matter experts as well as other application teams
- Ensure data security and compliance
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Bachelors degree in computer science or related field
- 5 years of experience with AWS/Azure
- Strong knowledge of AWS services
- Experience with cloud automation tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Experience in debugging performance and technical issues
- Experience with monitoring tools, middleware software and ITSM tools a plus
- Excellent technical knowledge of IT Infrastructure, including switches, routers, wireless access points, server operating systems and hardware, storage arrays, and security applications
- Strong technical knowledge of current protocols, operating systems, and standards
- Ability to read and understand technical manuals and procedural documentation
- SecOps (Security assessment, security automations, compliance, monitoring)
- Terraform knowledge
- Ability to translate requirements into end-to-end designs for systems that involve multiple interfaces and supporting data repositories
