RoadEx is a fast-growing financial services company specializing in the transportation and freight industry. Located in Southfield, MI, we’re seeking a skilled Account Manager to support our continued growth and success. This is a full-time, onsite role at our Southfield office (26555 Evergreen Rd, Suite 1200) with an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative, professional environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement logistics solutions for shipments across North America
- Build strong client relationships and support client success
- Manage and coordinate various types of shipments, including Flatbed, Step Deck, Conestoga, Oversized, and Permit Loads
- Negotiate competitive rates with shippers and carriers
- Track and monitor freight using advanced logistics software
- Communicate daily with shippers and carriers to ensure smooth operations
- Oversee customer relations, ensuring accurate and timely freight delivery
- Monitor load boards and handle dispatch calls
- Provide training and support to office staff as needed
- Drive customer acquisition and close sales
What We Offer

Qualifications
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in freight brokerage
- Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
- Exceptional customer service orientation
- Proactive, entrepreneurial spirit
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the transportation or logistics industry
- Sales or dispatching experience (2 years)
