Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking EIFS (Exterior Insulation and Finish Systems) and Construction Laborer to join our team. In this role, you will assist with various tasks related to the installation and maintenance of EIFS, as well as general construction labor duties. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, be safety-conscious, and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation of EIFS systems, including insulation boards, base coats, and finish coats.
- Perform general construction tasks, such as mixing and applying adhesives, setting up scaffold, and moving materials.
- Help with the preparation of job sites by loading and unloading materials and tools.
- Measure, cut, and install materials based on project specifications.
- Assist with the removal of old finishes, debris, and any unwanted materials from construction sites.
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and project requirements.
- Maintain clean and organized work areas, including tools and equipment.
- Follow instructions from supervisors and contribute to team goals.
- Assist with any other tasks as directed by the foreman or project manager.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in EIFS installation or general construction preferred but not required.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety protocols.
- Strong physical stamina and endurance.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Ability to read and follow instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Working Conditions:
- Work is performed outdoors, with potential exposure to harsh weather conditions.
- Required to lift heavy materials and tools.
- Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as hard hats, gloves, safety glasses, and steel-toed boots.
