We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Accountant position based in San Francisco, California. The role entails an array of responsibilities, including the preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting senior financial management with special projects. Responsibilities:• Assisting in the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.• Preparing and managing monthly journal entries, including expense accruals and prepaid expenses.• Performing accurate account reconciliations to maintain consistent financial records.• Reviewing and reconciling bank, credit card, and general ledgers.• Collaborating with other Finance department employees to support overall department goals and objectives.• Providing support during the annual audit and tax return preparation process.• Reconciling transactions among various systems such as proprietary accounting systems, BILL, and NetSuite.• Supporting senior financial management in special projects and enhancing accounting procedures.
