Robert Half is looking for an Accounting Clerk for a Burlington, WI area organization. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including account reconciliation, data entry, and reporting. Your role will be pivotal in maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with the overall efficiency of our accounting operations.
Responsibilities
- Undertake the data entry of financial transactions in our accounting system
- Execute account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
- Contribute to the company's reporting needs by generating detailed financial reports
- Apply your skills in Microsoft Excel to process, analyze and interpret data
- Assist with the processing of invoices as part of the Accounts Payable (AP) function
- Ensure all financial records are maintained accurately, securely, and in line with policies and regulations
- Respond to relevant queries from customers and provide a high standard of service
- Regularly review accounts and take action as needed based on the financial status or payment history of customers
- Work collaboratively with the team to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
- Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is essential
- Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary
- Must possess strong Data Entry skills
- Familiarity with Invoice Processing is required
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Excel
