Job Description:
We are looking for an organized Accounting Manager to oversee our accounting department's daily operations. As an Accounting Manager, you will be required to manage our financial reporting processes, monitor accounting procedures, analyze financial data, and maintain company ledgers. Your primary goal will be to ensure the smooth operation of our accounting department, fostering transparency and accuracy in all transactions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement company's accounting policies and procedures in compliance with financial regulations.
- Oversee all daily accounting functions including ledger activity, debits and credits, recognition of revenue and expenses, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare financial documents such as business reports, financial forecasts and statements to understand the financial state of the business.
- Manage the preparation and publication of departmental and organization financial documents.
- Collaborate with auditing services to ensure the proper compliance with all regulations.
- Develop and manage a team of accounting staff, providing leadership, guidance, and professional growth opportunities.
- Monitor the company’s financial status, performance, and cash flow.
- Collaborate with the management team in setting budget and financial targets.
- Adopt strategies for financial forecasting and tax processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or relatable field. A Master's degree or CPA designation is a plus.
- Proven experience as an Accounting Manager or similar role.
- Solid understanding of accounting processes and financial analysis techniques.
- Proficiency with accounting software, databases and financial analysis tools.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations.
- Exceptional knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, cost control principles.
- Strong leadership, decision making, and management skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to handle sensitive information.
- Strong attention to detail with an aptitude for problem-solving.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team, interpreting financial information to non-financial managers.
Salary : $105,000 - $130,000
